Chase

Chase was purchased from a pet store in Pismo Beach. His DOB is 8/15/02. He weighs about 130 lbs. Initially, I was working a lot when I bought him and I was afraid he was lonely. So, I bought Dimples as a companion in October 2004. They have been together since. They get along well playing together at times on our acre plot.

Chase is beautiful, alert, playful at times. Initially, neighbors brought their dogs to play with him to try to get him used to other dogs. He does well around other dogs. He is the alpha male with dimples and there is aggressiveness around food between the dogs. I have never had a child bitten or hurt by Chase. I have two boys and their friends are over around the dogs all the time. I rough housed with him as a puppy wrestling on the grass. Chase is loved. We pet and brush him daily though I never feel like it is enough! I wanted and got a good watch dog. Also, I have a dog that is gentle and good around my children. I really love Chase. He will be very hard to part with. I also believe he has a little arthritis but he runs the property w/o difficulty. Sometimes he is just a little slow getting up. That may be related to size and breed.

Dimples was born 10/7/04. He is a Korgy/Fox Terrior (who knows what else) mix. He loves my boys and sleeps in their bed at night. He likes to chew his bone also on the floor. He will fetch balls in the back yard. He too is good with children. No problems.

The dogs have had minimal training. Unfortunately, they do occasionally escape from my fenced yard or garage if someone accidently leaves gate/door open. They will not come back until they have perused the neighborhood and they will not come when called after escaping. They will come when you call them in the fenced acre.

If you can help me find a nice home where the dogs can be together I would really appreciate it.
