Muffin

4 Month Old Female

Muffin was born in January in Bakersfield. At the moment she is staying in a foster home with one of our volunteers and his 2 adult pyrs.

Here's what foster parent Doug has to report on Muffin's progress:

"Muffin is already great in a car and on a leash. She appears to be a dominant female by nature as she stares down (actually up) the big dogs when they growl at her and nip at her. She has grown a ton in the two weeks or so that we have had her and is growing fur which was thin when we got her. We can no longer feel her ribs. She has a great attitude, is quiet in the bedroom at night leashed to the bed as long as she has a rawhide chew to munch on. She still has her milk teeth. We think she is 4 months old. She is active, playful and oh so cute. We enjoy watching doggie TV comedy which is her outside playing."

"She will be a very good family dog and I'm sure she will get along with male dogs as she loves hanging with Bogie our 150 lb male."
